Alex’s practice covers a broad spectrum of commercial and civil litigation matters, including shareholder and partnership disputes, fraud and conspiracy litigation, franchising, property and real estate disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, professional negligence defence, and a range of other complex business and contractual disputes.Â

Alex takes a discerning and pragmatic approach to litigation, with a keen eye to finding practical and cost-effective solutions while considering business realities. She invests the time to get to know and understand her clients and the nuances of their legal or business problems before recommending and executing a tailored game plan that aligns with their specific needs and objectives.
Alex graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, in 2018 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. Before joining Sampogna Law Firm, she articled and practiced at boutique litigation firms in Toronto, where she represented a diverse clientele of individuals, both large and small, closely-held companies, and financial institutions in a variety of cases.
Alex has successfully argued before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Toronto Commercial List, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and various administrative tribunals. She has extensive experience advocating on behalf of her clients’ interests at all stages of a proceeding, whether in or outside of the courtroom. She is no stranger to litigating complex, multi-faceted and high-stakes matters with dozens of parties.
When she’s not battling it out in the courtroom, you will find her enjoying a delicious meal with loved ones, complaining about the Raptors’ offence, and planning her next vacation off the beaten track.
Education
Alex obtained her B.A. in Political Science from McGill University, and completed her J.D. at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in 2018.
